Our NGO has a big dream – we want to help women and girls in Africa who are struggling financially. We want them to find peace with money and live better lives. Here’s how we plan to do it:
1
Microloans: We give small loans to these women so they can start or improve their own small businesses. This financial
support helps them invest in their enterprises, generating income and improving their financial situation. It helps them grow
and become more financially stable. Responsibility and Accountability are promoted by ensuring that the women use the loans wisely and are held accountable for repayment.
2
Micro Pension: We help these women save a little bit of money regularly, like a small retirement fund. This way, when they're
older, they'll have some money to support themselves. It promotes a sense of security and long-term financial planning.
Responsibility is emphasized by encouraging women to plan for their future, and Transparency is maintained by working with
credible pension administrators to manage the pension system.
3
Micro Insurance: We provide a way for these women to get insurance for themselves, families and their businesses. Providing
micro insurance protects women and their businesses from unexpected challenges like illness or natural disasters. This ensures
their financial stability is not jeopardized by unforeseen events. Responsibility is encouraged by preparing for uncertainties,
and Transparency is maintained by clearly communicating the benefits and terms of the insurance and working with a credible insurance company.
4
Skills Acquisition: Offering training and skills development programs empowers women to enhance their business acumen,
improving the quality and efficiency of their micro-businesses, we teach these women and girls new skills so they can acquire
profitable skills they can monetize or do better in their businesses. The more they know, the more successful they can be.
Excellence is fostered by promoting continuous learning and improvement, while Accountability is encouraged through regular assessments of acquired skills.
5
Thrift Savings: Encouraging members and clients to save a portion of their income regularly fosters financial discipline and
provides a safety net for emergencies, we encourage these women to save a little bit of money regularly. It's like putting
money in a piggy bank. These savings can be used for emergencies or for investing in their businesses. Responsibility is
promoted by instilling a savings culture, and Transparency is maintained through clear communication of the accounts and about the benefits of thrift savings.
6
Wellbeing Club: A community where women can support each other, share experiences, and access additional resources that
contribute to their overall well-being. A safe space where these women and girls can support each other. They can share their
experiences, learn from each other, and grow together. We care about their well-being, not just their money. Responsibility is
encouraged by fostering a supportive community, living a healthy lifestyle, and Transparency is maintained by openly
communicating within the Wellbeing Club and having regular check-ins through accountability while trusting God for divine
well-being
7
Education-Literacy on the Street: We bring education to where these women are. We'll teach them how to read and write and give them knowledge about running a business. Education is a powerful tool, and we want to make sure they have it. Conducting educational and literacy programs in the community improves the overall knowledge and skills of women and girl
child, empowering them to make informed decisions in their businesses and personal lives. Excellence is promoted through
education, and Accountability is encouraged by empowering women to take control of their financial and personal
development.
